Job Title: Road Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Road Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of road maintenance tasks, including inspections, hazard rectification, and manual labor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections of roads and highways to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct manual labor tasks such as excavating and filling potholes, repairing guardrails, and painting road markings.
  • Operate a variety of plant and equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Install signs and traffic control devices in accordance with traffic management plans.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents on the road network.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Victorian Drivers license.
  • Current Medium Rigid truck licence.
  • Current licenses and tickets in plant operation; traffic management, chainsaw and first aid, construction induction card.
  • Construction Induction White Card.
  • Working knowledge of computer tablets/mobile devices.
