About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Quality Engineer to join our Engineering Platform team at Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our squad, you will play a critical role in transforming our group capability to Automated Testing and supporting the bank's Engineering Platform integration with CI/CD tools, Test Automation Frameworks, and escalation points for a subset of those services or capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement automated testing strategies to reduce testing time and improve quality
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on testing best practices
  • Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and tools to support the bank's engineering platform
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
