Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Accounts Officer to join our Finance division at Lawson Elliott, a leading Australian manufacturer. This exciting opportunity will see you facilitate end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

About the Role
  • Facilitate payroll processing, including Single Touch Payroll superannuation payments
  • Maintain knowledge of payroll compliance, including standard practices, procedures, operations, and laws
  • Coordinate with HR to facilitate setup for newly on-boarded employees
  • Process termination payments as required
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Support month-end reporting and reconciliation

You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with operations leaders and HR to provide support and advice on payroll matters.

Requirements
  • At least 4-5 years' experience in payroll within a medium to large company
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of an energetic and supportive team
