Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality cloud solutions that meet the needs of our students and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cloud resource utilization, ensuring cost efficiency, and maximizing system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative cloud-based solutions that support our university's strategic goals.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on cloud computing technologies, including virtualization, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology or a related field, with extensive experience in managing cloud and virtualized platforms such as VMWare, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing technical teams, with expertise in developing and implementing IT strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern software continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, with the ability to research, critically appraise, and evaluate new technologies and approaches.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with experience in establishing priorities, working across multiple initiatives, and meeting tight deadlines.
- A competitive salary range of $163,646 to $183,034 per annum, inclusive of 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading.
