JPS Medical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Thursday Island Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC).

**About the Role**
As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to the local community. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver essential health services, including emergency care, general medical services, maternal and child health, and chronic disease management. The centre supports the primary healthcare needs of both residents and visitors to the island.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide clinical care and support to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Meet the qualifications and experience requirements outlined below


**Qualifications and Experience**
  • AHPRA registration
  • BLS
  • Clinical Nurse classification
  • Child Safety Reporting experience
  • Child health & child safety experience
