Senior Inventory Optimisation Specialist

- Partner with the Buying team to develop and execute merchandise strategies, drive sales, and optimise inventory levels.
The role requires analysis of sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, preparing and managing sales forecasts, stock plans, and open-to-buy budgets.
It is also crucial to implement and maintain planning processes and reporting tools, as well as monitor inventory levels to ensure availability and minimise markdowns.
Additionally, the successful candidate will provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive business performance.
About You:- Proven experience as a Merchandise Planner in a retail environment is essential.
- Advanced skills in Excel are required, along with a strong understanding of planning tools and systems.
- Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of sales forecasting and inventory management are necessary for success.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are vital, as well as the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- A collaborative mindset is essential for this role.
