About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Arcare Aged Care, a leading provider of aged care services in Australia. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their well-being, and supporting their health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Provide medical care, assess residents' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and manage medications and treatments.
  • Wound Management: Manage and dress wounds, prevent infections, and promote proper wound healing.
  • Health Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Pain Management: Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate the response as necessary.
  • End-of-Life Care: Provide comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
