Transmission Line Installer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Line Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing overhead transmission lines within our network services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical distribution and a certificate in ESI Distribution Overhead or EST Transmission Overhead. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and adhere to company procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III ESI Distribution Overhead or Certificate III EST Transmission Overhead
  • 3+ years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety
  • Valid WA Driver's Licence - HR Class (or willing to undertake if ineligible)
  • CPR Certificate and Senior First Aid Certificate
  • WHS Construction Safety Induction White Card
  • High Risk Work Licences: HRWL, EWP, Safe Working at Heights
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Ability to travel to other depots or worksites
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol testing

Desirable Skills/Requirements:

  • Perform Pole Top Rescue (PTR) Certificate
  • Controlled Descent Escape (EDD) Certificate
  • Low Voltage Rescue (LVR)
