We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment.

About the Role:

In this key position, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT. You will also prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Additionally, you will operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Nuclear Medicine Procedures: Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scans.
  • Prepare and Administer Radiopharmaceuticals: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively.
  • Operate Advanced Imaging Equipment: Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging.
  • Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety practices.
