Opportunities abound for a 12-month traineeship at Australia's largest university. The Indigenous Traineeship Program is designed to foster the development of Indigenous Australians in their chosen field.

The program offers a unique chance to gain a Certificate IV in Business while rotating through various divisions within the university. You will have the opportunity to work with both the Monash University Publishing and the Flexible Library Administration Services Hub (FLASH) teams in the Monash Library.

As a trainee, you will support senior staff and publishing officers in producing new publications, building skills in customer service, dispatch, data entry, and administration tasks. You will also participate in team meetings and discussions, gaining valuable insights into the inner workings of Monash University Library.

A dedicated Indigenous mentor, access to our Program Manager, and our Elder in Residence are all part of your support network. Structured study time will also be allocated to assist you in your learning, with a dedicated Indigenous study lounge available to you throughout the Traineeship program.
