Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and lead junior and mid-level staff to deliver high-quality technical tasks.
  • Champion innovative solutions, developing new tools and improving existing ones.
  • Lead and contribute to winning work within the team's skillset, and for the wider Aurecon group.
  • Support the wider Aurecon team's projects with expert advice on power systems, electrical, and NER-related topics.

What We're Looking For:

We seek individuals with a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning. You'll have a broad range of experiences, and be able to demonstrate how you've worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Specifically:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • RPEQ Certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of at least 2 out of 3 of PSS/E, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
  • Understanding of the NER S5.2.5 and S5.3 technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write Python automation code.
  • Strong understanding of Power System Studies and Power Systems.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
