Personal Injury Paralegal or Graduate/Junior Lawyer

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will provide invaluable support to our accredited specialist personal injury partner and senior lawyers, assisting with the day-to-day management of cases, including:

  • Liaising with clients, doctors, insurers, solicitors, and the Personal Injury Commission/Courts;
  • Arranging medical appointments;
  • Preparing documents, forms, and court documents/briefs to barristers;
  • Attending PIC/Court (if a lawyer);
  • Legal research and filing/administration.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who:

  • Is either a legal assistant/paralegal or admitted as a solicitor in NSW (or soon to be);
  • Has minimum 1 year personal injury law experience, including plaintiff experience;
  • Has experience in workers compensation (essential) and preferably any 1 or more of: CTP, work injury damages, and civil liability;
  • Has solid knowledge of the 'life cycle' of a workers compensation claim from start to finish;
  • Is extremely astute, client/results-driven, and proactive with high attention to detail;
  • Thrives in a busy, vibrant, deadline-driven environment;
  • Is hungry to further advance their career long-term with a 1st-Class plaintiff firm that invests in its staff.
