NDT Engineer Role Overview

As a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of NDT are met within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and supervise NDT tests using various methods such as penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Interpret codes, standards, and specifications to ensure accurate evaluations and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and set up NDT equipment, verifying its proper functioning to guarantee accurate results.
  • Develop, review, and approve written NDT procedures, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Organize and report test results, maintaining regulatory compliance and providing detailed analyses.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and certification support for NDT personnel, fostering growth and development.
  • Participate in safety audits, hazard reporting, and compliance checks, upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Review and update NDT manuals and procedures annually, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • Deliver NDT training, exams, and certifications, promoting professional growth and excellence.
  • Support NDT audits, non-conformance reviews, and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage the NDT workshop efficiently, maintaining compliance and optimizing performance.
  • Engage in external audits, building strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrating our commitment to quality.

Requirements:

  • Certified NDT Level 3 with 5+ years' experience in aviation or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in regulated industries with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.
  • Ability to effectively engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships.
