**Employment Opportunity: Unaccredited Medical Trainee Position**

The Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking a motivated and skilled medical professional to fill the role of Unaccredited Trainee in our General Medicine team. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.

As an Unaccredited Trainee, you will have the chance to work under the guidance of experienced medical professionals, developing your clinical skills and knowledge in a variety of settings. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

This role requires a strong commitment to quality and safety, with a focus on patient flow and management. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

The hospital provides a comprehensive education and training program, with dedicated supervisors, teachers, and a JMO Unit that supports all activities related to rostering, training, education, and welfare of junior doctors. Our state-of-the-art facilities include an Education Centre, simulation rooms, and theatres, offering a range of opportunities for learning and professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery, and coordination of patient care
  • High level communication skills, including the ability to convey and adapt verbal and written information to a clinical and non-clinical audience
  • Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated high level independent clinical skills and judgement, with the ability to make sound decisions and problem solve with an awareness of limitations and ability to learn independently and modify behaviour accordingly
