Teaching Opportunity in Secondary Humanities

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team as a Secondary Humanities Teacher. This full-time position includes teaching History and Christian Studies for Years 7–10, with skills in Information Technology considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the Australian Curriculum in Humanities (Years 7–10), including History and Christian Studies.
  • Implement Mastery Learning classroom sessions two mornings per week.
  • Collaborate with staff to create relevant learning experiences for students.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed Christian, able to integrate their personal faith into their teaching practice.
  • Demonstrate a strong Biblical understanding of learning and education.
  • Create a supportive classroom environment where students can grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
  • Be familiar with or willing to adopt Mastery Learning principles.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
  • Use ICT effectively to enhance learning (skills in IT are a strong advantage).
