We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Courier/Set Run Allocator. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the timely allocation of work to our owner drivers.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include working closely with our Operations Manager, responding to and resolving driver issues, and communicating with our customer service team to keep our clients informed every step of the way.

The ideal candidate will have current experience as a fleet controller/despatcher, a broad understanding of Southeast Queensland, and excellent knowledge of COR.

  • Current experience as a fleet controller/despatcher is preferred.
  • Broad understanding of Southeast Queensland.
  • Ideal – experience with courier fleet, experience managing offsite vehicles ranging from 1 Tonne Vans through to Semi Trailers.
  • Can work collaboratively within a team-first environment.
  • Experience dealing with trucks and truck drivers preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of COR.
  • Thrive on making things happen.
  • Have Customer Service/Client Care.
  • Have empathy for our owner drivers and the conditions they work under.
  • Display enthusiasm, have a hard-working can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills, including written and spoken English.
  • Have a high level of self-confidence and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • You must be adaptable, quick thinking and a great problem solver.
