Business Continuity Planning Consultant

At Sense Recruitment, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Planning Consultant to lead critical BCP initiatives that safeguard and empower our clients' organisations in any scenario. As a seasoned consultant with a strategic mindset and a knack for effective project execution, you'll be at the forefront of Business Continuity Planning, taking charge of each stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project timeline that sets the stage for successful outcomes and ensures all voices are heard and aligned.
  • Prepare and share assessment tools, lead interactive workshops, and conduct in-depth interviews to uncover potential threats and vulnerabilities across current business processes.
  • Assess risks based on severity and offer improvement recommendations that enhance organisational resilience.
  • Create a detailed Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify mission-critical functions and examine the effects of potential disruptions.
  • Develop tailored recovery strategies, from identifying essential resources to documenting detailed recovery plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in continuity planning, risk assessment, and project leadership.
  • Strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a knack for translating complex risk landscapes into practical, proactive solutions.
  • Background in business process mapping, risk prioritisation, and detailed documentation.
