Employment Coach Role

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their career and financial goals? We have a full-time ongoing position available for an Employment Coach at our Fitzroy site.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will play a key part in assisting our customers to set and achieve their goals while meeting the contractual requirements of an employment service provider. You will work closely with our team to find suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocate on their behalf.

As an Employment Coach, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges
  • Delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning
  • Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf
  • Referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counselling
  • Providing additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
