You will play a key role in delivering hands-on training to warehouse team members, focusing on picking and packing operations, and expanding to other areas as needed.
About the Opportunity
As a Warehouse Trainer, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering practical training sessions in picking, packing, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Maintaining and updating training materials, SOPs, and competency checklists
- Monitoring performance and providing coaching to improve accuracy, speed, and safety
- Supporting the onboarding process for new starters across operational areas
- Promoting best practices in manual handling and warehouse safety
- Collaborating with senior trainers and leaders to identify training needs
- Assisting with further coaching or operational support when required
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience in warehouse operations, preferably in Picking and Packing
- Ability to operate an Electronic Pallet Jack (EPJ) confidently and competently
- Strong communication skills and confidence in coaching others
- Previous experience in training or coaching, or a related field
- A proactive mindset with a passion for developing people and processes
- Intermediate English literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility to work 5 days per week, minimum 30 hours
