At LNW Gaming ANZ Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Animation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for leading the conceptualization and development of animation and motion graphics content for our games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the animation team in the creation of captivating video sequences that align with our brand's visual identity and style guides.
  • Develop and implement new tools and techniques to improve animation efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the creative director, game producers, and art team leads to determine aesthetic solutions and ensure artistic integrity.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on animation tasks and mentor junior team members.
  • Develop character, prop, symbol, text, and UI animations using digital 2D, 3D, and motion design techniques.
  • Assist the graphics team lead in providing training and mentorship on new tools and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of a range of deliverables, including graphic tasks, marketing assets, and other visual content.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in animation, preferably in a game development studio.
  • Extensive training and experience in digital art and animation software, including After Effects, Photoshop, Blender, Spine, Maya, 3DS Max, or similar.
  • Expert knowledge in traditional and 3D animation, including character animation, modeling, rigging, lighting, and texturing.
  • Strong graphic design and typography skills.
  • Experience working with Unity game engine and character animation skills in Spine, After Effects, and 3D software.
  • Technical and creative problem-solving skills with a can-do mindset.
Working Conditions:
  • Convenient hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a gaming or other license(s) as required by law or regulation.
