Position Overview

Due to a series of successful project acquisitions and our strategic growth initiatives, AECOM's Civil Infrastructure (CI) division is seeking a motivated and ambitious Civil Engineer / Project Manager eager to advance their career in the delivery of civil infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects.

As a member of a high-performing team, you will play a crucial role in securing, managing, and executing projects for a wide array of clients, including local government and various civil infrastructure stakeholders.

Typical engineering projects for our CI / Industrial clientele include: light and heavy vehicle roadways, water distribution systems, mine-site water management, hydrological modeling, drainage systems, and construction quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in securing, managing, and delivering a variety of transport infrastructure projects for both private and public sector clients.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
  • Conduct quality control assessments of design calculations and drawings.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.

What we seek from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent);
  • Approximately 5 years of engineering experience;
  • Familiarity with Australian projects and a solid understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Codes;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Business development experience (preferred);
  • RPEQ/CPEng certification (preferred);
  • Proven track record in successfully securing and delivering Civil Infrastructure projects on time and within budget;
  • A passion for personal development and a desire to be a future leader in our local strategy to enhance the CI and Industrial groups' capabilities;
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to mentoring others.
