Key Responsibilities

Range 1 Classroom Teacher

At this level, classroom teachers further develop their skills and competencies to become effective practitioners with structured support from senior colleagues and other resources.

  • Teach a range of students and are accountable for delivering effective programs.
  • Participate in policy development and contribute to school priorities implementation.
Range 2 Classroom Teacher

These teachers play a significant role in assisting the school to improve performance and educational outcomes aligned with school and state-wide priorities.

  • Teachers possess content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet diverse student needs.
  • Model exemplary practice, mentor/coach colleagues to reflect critically on their practice and expand staff capacity.
