Medical Officer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to combine lifestyle with working in a regional public and private hospital as a medical officer. You will be involved in the acute and general care medicine on-call roster, reviewing medical patients presenting to the emergency department, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the acute and general care medicine on-call roster
  • Review of medical patients presenting to the emergency department
  • Inpatient care and outpatient clinics
  • Liaison with colleagues in General Medicine for collaboration on patient care

Qualifications:
  • FRACP qualification
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that of a Specialist Physician in a public hospital and VMO in a private hospital
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Sub-specialty qualification in Acute and General Care Medicine
  • Qualifications and/or experience in clinical education and training

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
