About Our Therapist Role

As a dedicated healthcare professional, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.

You will join our supportive and multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care to residents in Residential Aged Care homes.

Your role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, providing clinical recommendations, and developing individualised therapy programs to promote falls prevention, pain management, arthritic care, and skin integrity.

You will work closely with facility staff to review care plans and adjust therapy as residents' needs evolve, embodying flexibility and collaboration within a caring team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clinical recommendations to support mobility, transfers, and daily living.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy that promotes falls prevention, pain management, arthritic care, and skin integrity.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy programs and lead group-based active ageing sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with facility staff to review care plans and adjust therapy as residents' needs evolve.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check.
