Job Title: Facilitator of Seamless Patient Care
Job OverviewThe role of an Administration Officer is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to patients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, cancellations, and re-bookings to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage patient records, maintain accurate data in electronic medical systems, and ensure timely distribution of reports and results.
- Arrange for transport and interpreter services as needed, prioritizing patient comfort and convenience.
- Support the team by ordering supplies, coordinating with clinical trial centres, and assisting with daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare administration, with a strong understanding of Medicare HPOS processes and medical record systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- High computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical record systems.
