Contrabassoon Player Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled contrabassoon player to join our orchestra. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and the ability to perform complex musical pieces.

  • Excerpts from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Brahms' Symphony No. 3, Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye and Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, and Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony No. 1 are required.
  • The audition process will involve performing these excerpts on the contrabassoon.

The selected musician will be expected to perform at a high level and commit to regular rehearsals and performances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing as a member of the orchestra
  • Rehearsing with the orchestra prior to performances
  • Attending dress rehearsals and performances
