We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our dynamic medical practice on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a lovely coastal location close to all major amenities, including the University. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team and have access to a wide range of Allied Health services, including Psychology, Physiotherapy, and Dietitian.
The role involves providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population, with a focus on preventative medicine and health education. You will be responsible for conducting consultations, performing medical procedures, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct consultations and examinations to diagnose and manage patient conditions
- Perform routine medical procedures, such as vaccinations and blood tests
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide health education and advice to patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Practitioner in Australia
- An unrestricted VR GP registration with AHPRA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
