About Acorn Rentals:
We provide replacement vehicles to individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents, with reimbursement from insurance companies. Our Head Office is based in Macquarie Park NSW, where we receive bookings, organize vehicle logistics, and handle claims administration for branches across Australia.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of a young professional team managing claims from application to invoicing stage. Reporting directly to the Claims Administration Manager, this role offers the opportunity to develop quality clerical and customer service skills with ongoing support and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking applications/bookings via phone, email, and fax
- Liaising with insurance companies
- Making informed decisions on liability in motor vehicle claims
- Coordinating delivery and collection of replacement vehicles to clients
- Contacting Smash Repair Centres regarding client vehicle repairs
- Actioning and responding to emails
- General administration duties
- Data entry
Requirements
- A confident and friendly phone manner
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of customer service and rapport-building ability
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
This role offers an estimated annual salary of $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience, and a full-time position Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
