This roster operates similar to a shutdown roster, featuring shifts that vary based on demand. Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and repairs of processing plant equipment
- Ensure clear communication across team members and to the Supervisor regarding downtime and trouble areas
- Remove and install equipment components, including hard skirts, soft skirts, billets, liners, idler frames, structural steel, deflectors, chutes, screens, and vibe feeders
- Carry out corrective and breakdown maintenance tasks, including motor replacements, belts and pulleys, dust suppression, and crusher main frame liners
- Conduct general routine inspections of crushers, skirts, idlers, plant raw water (pumps, valves, and piping)
- Follow specific maintenance strategies and procedures
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment, and sustainable development
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation and data entry

We are looking for individuals who have:
- A trade certificate in mechanical fitting or equivalent
- Fixed plant maintenance experience, similar industry experience also considered
- Experience maintaining crushers, skirts, pulleys, or gearboxes will be highly regarded
- Experience in removal and installation of deflectors and chutes also desirable
- A high level of safety focus
- Capability in 1SAP or similar maintenance management system desirable
- Ability to identify defective mechanical components or equipment
