Senior Lawyer

This is an exceptional chance to join a leading Australian corporate law firm as a disputes lawyer with experience in construction law. The team undertakes complex and high-profile infrastructure, construction, engineering, and mining projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice on all aspects of projects, including pre-contract, project delivery methods, project finance, procurement, drafting standard and bespoke construction contracts
- Administer and interpret construction contracts
- Handle all forms of construction claims
- Engage in litigation
- Facilitate alternative dispute resolution (including mediation, expert determination, and arbitration)
- An intermediate to senior level lawyer with 2-4 years' construction disputes experience
- A developing professional profile and ability to develop an internal network beyond the practice group
- An ability to maintain and foster client relationships
- An ability to consistently present a positive image of self, the team, and the firm
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a high-profile partner who is known for his calm and measured approach, and his ability to mentor and supervise lawyers to ensure they reach their full potential.
