A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced workshop leader to join our team in Wodonga.

About the Role

This pivotal position involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of diesel technicians in the workshop.

Your key objective is to ensure all KPIs are achieved while providing excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, your key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising workmanship and performance of assigned diesel technicians
  • Achieving service labour targets through repair and maintenance work
  • Ensuring a safe work environment with continuous improvement
  • Effectively managing/monitoring work in progress to meet company benchmarks
  • Leading by example and upholding our core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Commitment
About You

You will be a true leader with a genuine interest in motivating and inspiring a team of professionals.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualified Mobile Plant Diesel Mechanic
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience in a similar role
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise with customers, peers, co-workers, and all levels of management
  • Excellent organisational skills and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
