Loss Prevention Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to prevent and respond to incidents.
  • Lock property entrances and conduct daily physical hazard inspections to maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services, and administer first aid/CPR as needed.
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify relevant individuals in the event of incidents.
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary.
  • Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.
  • Handle interruptions and complaints, and resolve safety hazard situations.
  • Escort unwelcome individuals from the property without disrupting operations.
  • Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses.
  • Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report and maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents.

About You:

  • Relevant experience in hotel security or a related field.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
