Job Overview

The role of a Nursery Person is pivotal in driving success across various nursery operations.

Key responsibilities include maintaining optimal growing environments to predetermined standards, implementing effective pest, weed and disease management strategies, and overseeing crop husbandry processes. Additionally, successful candidates will be responsible for supporting monitoring programs and reporting on crop maintenance requirements.

This position demands exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as high-level knowledge of propagation and planting techniques. A strong analytical mind, coupled with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively, is also essential.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include minimizing weed incursions, fostering collaboration with production managers, and optimizing time management. To excel in this position, applicants must possess a minimum qualification of AQF Certificate IV in Horticulture or a related field, and at least 2 years' experience in a similar capacity.
