About the Organization:Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service operates the North Rockhampton Nursing Centre (NRNC), which provides care for individuals who cannot live independently due to various circumstances. Our facility accommodates over 120 residents across three specialized wings:
- Cecil Pritchard Wing: Offers comprehensive high-level aged care with a spacious lounge area promoting social interaction.
- Ivy Baker Wing: Focuses on specialized high-level dementia care, featuring a large outdoor space for resident mobility.
- Westwood Wing: Delivers high-level residential aged care, including transition and interim care options, with enhanced security access.
The Nurse Grade 3 position entails responsibilities of an Enrolled Nurse, assisting a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife in delivering person-centered care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards, relevant legislation, and the context of care.
Candidate Profile:- Essential Qualifications: Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Clinical Competence: Demonstrated evidence-based clinical skills relevant to the Enrolled Nurse role and a solid understanding of the practice area.
- Professional Standards: Adherence to NMBA competency domains and standards applicable to Enrolled Nurses.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to evolving circumstances.
The total remuneration package can reach up to $86,259 per annum, which includes:
- An hourly wage of approximately $38.12.
