Here at CPL, we support clients with diverse needs, including complex physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and mental health conditions. As a Caring Support Professional, you will be an integral part of the lives of people from all ages and backgrounds.
- You will assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, dressing, and more
- Administer medications as directed
- Transfer individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and provide general mobility assistance
- Contribute to domestic duties like cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation
- Engage clients in community activities, such as attending doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, or social/recreational activities of their choice
This role is ideal for those who:
- Are available for 15-20 hours per week and can commit to early morning (6am-9am) and evening shifts (3pm-10pm)
- Able to work varied shift patterns with a minimum shift requirement of 2 hours
- Excellent communicators dedicated to delivering exceptional service to every individual
- Strong listeners who can work autonomously, under direction, and within a team environment
- Calm and confident in different settings and understand the importance of professional boundaries
- Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage

- An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications, ranging from $33.01/hr at Level 1.1 for those entering the industry

To ensure a smooth transition, please note that you will need:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
- A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
