About the Role

The SunRice Group is a leading Australian food exporter with operations in 11 countries, employing approximately 2,000 employees. As a key member of the Health, Wellbeing, Safety and Environment (HWSE) team, you will play a critical role in supporting the group's HWSE strategy focused on psychosocial risk management and development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return to work processes, including the development of suitable duties plans and associated documentation.
  • Collaborate and support the development and implementation of systems for managing HWSE risks, specifically those related to health, hygiene, and psychosocial factors.
  • Champion a supportive and effective early intervention and return to work program for employees experiencing injury or illness, providing coaching and education to employees and leaders.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to cultivate a culture that prioritises healthy activities and behaviours.
  • Manage and maintain all workers' compensation claims and related communication within secure health data storage systems.
About You
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in injury management, RTW coordination, personal injury, or workers' compensation insurance.
  • You possess significant experience in managing workers compensation and injury management programs.
  • You are an Allied Health professional looking to transition into a corporate environment or have experience in health promotion and disease prevention.
  • You have a proven track record of creating and delivering successful health strategies and injury/illness prevention programs, including psychosocial risk management.
  • You are able to understand trends in order to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to support the health and wellbeing culture.
  • You are comfortable working in a team and can use your own initiative to plan tasks and manage workload.
  • You excel at building and maintaining strong partnerships, particularly with external stakeholders like insurers and regulators.
