Job Role Overview

Experienced professionals are sought to fill various roles within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining machinery and equipment, managing bi-monthly maintenance activities, operating range of machinery in the drying process, ensuring machinery is maintained to operational standards, undertaking quality control tasks, and aligning, servicing and maintaining sawing machinery across the production plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular greasing and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Manage oil sampling for laboratory tests and infra-red temperature checks.
  • Operate a range of machinery in the drying process of the production cycle.
  • Ensure machinery is maintained to operational standards.
  • Undertake quality control tasks.
  • Align, service and maintain sawing machinery across the production plant.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the plant with ongoing preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Problem solving skills with a mechanical mindset.
  • Strong communicator with excellent analytical skills.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Attention to detail with experience working in a continuous production facility.
  • Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Trade Certificate in Saw Doctoring.

  • Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
