Bakery Specialist

Ningaloo Bakehouse PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team in Exmouth, WA.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and produce high-quality pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts.
• Create new recipes and execute them with precision.
• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products, enhancing presentation with icing, glazes, fillings, and decorations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Use scales, graded containers, measures, and weights to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and whipped cream.
• Decorate baked items using a pastry bag and create custom-made pastries based on customer preferences.
• Recommend new recipes to refresh our menu and attract new customers.
• Manage food supply and place orders as required.
• Clean, dismantle, and store all baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated understanding of and ability to operate basic food service equipment safely and effectively.
• Self-motivated and adaptable with a high level of energy for multi-tasking.
• Strong communication skills, ability to manage time and resources, and general planning.
• Close attention to detail, especially when inspecting materials and products for quality.
• Willingness to solve problems, manage schedules, execute orders, and create delicious baked items on your own or with other team members.

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 annually
