We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Toowoomba. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and support with daily hygiene and grooming needs.
  • Assisting with medication management and supporting clients in taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Facilitating transportation services to ensure clients attend appointments and social events.
  • Providing domestic assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Encouraging participation in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess empathy and compassion, strong communication skills, organisational skills, and flexibility and adaptability.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent.
  • Current National Police Certificate.
  • Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Immunisation against Tetanus & Hepatitis B.
  • Completion of Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain).
  • Completion of Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain).
