Salary: $115,670 - $126,703

About the Role

The Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's Quality Management System meets ISO 9001:2015 certification requirements. This involves ongoing management, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance activities to drive continuous improvement and maintain certification against relevant ISO standards.

This position interacts with teams across the organisation to deliver key quality outcomes, close corrective actions arising from audits, and drive organisational improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing management of NT PHN's Quality Management System
  • Implementation and management of the Information Security Management System to meet ISO 27001:2022 certification requirements
  • Development and implementation of an organisation-wide audit schedule
  • Oversight of external audits and internal audits as required
  • Monitoring and closure of recommendations and corrective actions from audits

Requirements:

  • Knowledge equivalent to a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training
  • Minimum three years' experience in delivering ISO systems in an assurance role
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, auditing, and/or information security management systems within a not-for-profit, government, or similarly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience with data management and knowledge of project management principles
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build commitment, influence, and motivate others
  • Proven experience working with various stakeholders to influence positive outcomes
  • Excellent attention to detail with experience in preparing high-quality business documents
  • Strategic thinking skills and judgement required to identify and respond to complex matters
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritise, and manage competing priorities
