Are you passionate about working outdoors and in the turf industry? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Course Maintenance Team as either a Groundsman or an Apprentice Greenkeeper.
This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to begin or further their career in turf management. We welcome applications from both entry-level candidates and those with experience, including mature-age apprentices.
The RoleYou will work as part of a professional team dedicated to maintaining and presenting two championship-standard golf courses to the highest level. This role is hands-on and outdoors, requiring pride in your work, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute to a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers
- Operation of turf care machinery including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Assisting with irrigation operation, monitoring, and repairs
- Support in course renovations and turf improvement projects
- Contributing to landscaping and presentation works across the course
- Passion for working outdoors and in the turf/golf industry
- Willingness to learn with apprenticeship pathways available (including mature-age)
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work early mornings and rostered weekends
- Previous experience in turf, landscaping, or grounds work highly regarded but not essential
- Positive team player with good communication skills
