As an Automation Engineer at our Edinburgh Parks site, you will be responsible for managing daily improvements, reviewing site-wide development, and growing our electrical control infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyse plant processes and design improvements.
- Support and coach on-site Electricians and programmers for development and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement solutions to deliver automation and improve production efficiency.
- Manage and plan end-of-life equipment replacement strategies.
- Develop and implement solutions to deliver energy and water savings.
- Maintain PLC and SCADA systems.
- Manage electrical engineering projects.
What We Are Looking For
- An Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Practical experience with PLC systems and SCADA systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and provide technical solutions.
- Experience in an engineering role with system design, implementation, and commissioning.
