About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career as a speech pathologist in the Northern Territory. As part of our team, you will provide contemporary, evidence-based speech pathology services to children, adolescents, and adults.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
- Salary packaging available (equivalent of up to $6,400 additional salary).
- 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading.
- $1,500 professional development allowance per year.
- Relocation assistance available for interstate candidates.
- Comprehensive induction program and shadowing of all disciplines.
Job Description
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing targeted and meaningful developmental therapy for participants with communication needs. You will work collaboratively with families/caregivers to develop and tailor augmentative and alternative communication systems, programs, and resources.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or Post Graduate qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for membership).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Drivers Licence.
