About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team at Transit Systems NSW. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers on our bus routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a bus on scheduled routes, ensuring safe and timely transportation of passengers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Operate a bus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve driving skills and knowledge of the route.

Requirements:

  • A valid Australian driver's license (MR or HR).
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience driving a bus or similar vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
