Medical Administration Registrar


Overview

Seeking a motivated Medical Administration Registrar to join our team at the Albany Health Campus in Western Australia.

The role involves working with the Director of Medical Services to provide professional leadership and guidance on strategic and operational projects.

As a participant in the RACMA training program, you will be supported in developing the skills needed to become a specialist healthcare medical administrator.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and enhancement of specialist services in the Great Southern region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and guidance on strategic and operational projects.
  • Support the Director of Medical Services in the delivery of clinical governance, accreditation, junior medical staff, service development, and general medical administration duties.
  • Engage in or progressing towards a supervised training program in medical administration as a Trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
Requirements
  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • At least PGY4 with six months of medical administration experience.
  • Current enrolment or willingness to enrol in the RACMA specialist training program.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivation and commitment to continuing medical education.
  • Understanding of culturally appropriate care.
