Job DescriptionThis role involves ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of vessels at HMAS Stirling. As a Maritime Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional seamanship and marine engineering expertise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing marine operations, including crane operations, berthing, anchoring, and seamanship
- Managing and participating in shipboard drills and exercises
- Conducting maintenance and marine engineering operations within your certificate qualifications
- Ensuring vessel and crew compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Supporting vessel maintenance, including working in machinery spaces
- Participating in the training and induction of new personnel in inshore vessel operations
- Collaborating with the Naval team to support operational outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
