Job Title: Wait Staff

Location: Melaleuca Restaurant

About the Role:

Melaleuca Restaurant is seeking a skilled Wait Staff member to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Details:

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 + 11.5% superannuation per year

Responsibilities:

  • Set and arrange tables for an elevated dining experience
  • Welcome guests, take reservations, and present menus
  • Offer detailed wine and food pairing recommendations
  • Take orders and liaise with kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve food and beverages with precision and care
  • Clear tables and return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen
  • Manage payment transactions efficiently
  • Assist with wine service, including opening bottles and mixing drinks

Requirements:

  • At least two years of full-time relevant experience as a Waiter
  • Must live in the FNQ Region
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
