We are seeking an Emergency Medicine RMO to join our team in Darwin, working in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a locum Doctor, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging setting, with a high volume of patients and a diverse range of cases.
The Royal Darwin Hospital's Emergency Department is a tertiary referral centre, seeing approximately 70,000 patients per year. The department is staffed by a team of consultants, registrars, residents, interns, and medical students, with a 24-hour registrar presence. The roster is 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts, allowing for a good work-life balance.
The location offers a unique blend of urban and outdoor lifestyle, with plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding region. The Northern Territory is a multi-cultural region with a rich history and culture, and Darwin is a vibrant city with a strong sense of community.
