About The Role

As a key member of the CHSP / HACC team, you will support Occupational Therapists with comprehensive home assessments, recommendations regarding assistive equipment and home modifications, and provide holistic client and carer support and education. This role will directly report to a senior occupational therapist.

You will have opportunities to:

  • Work in a supportive team comprising of a senior occupational therapist and grade 2 occupational therapists.
  • Work collaboratively with patients/significant others and an interdisciplinary team to deliver effective, efficient, and integrated holistic care.
  • Attend team meetings and case discussions.
  • Be part of a strong supervision structure and opportunities for professional development to deliver evidence-based holistic care.
About You

We are seeking an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Allied Health Assistant Certificate III/IV or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Allied Health assistant within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated, team-oriented, adaptable, and friendly.
