Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Sessional Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with the Acute Ophthalmology Service, Surgical Ophthalmology Service (outpatient clinics and operating theatres), and our specialist Emergency Department on a sessional basis. You will be expected to deliver timely and effective patient-centred care, as well as provide supervision, education, and training to Junior Medical Staff, nursing, and allied health staff, observers, and students.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must be eligible for Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) and hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also be required to undergo a criminal record check and provide evidence of a Working With Children check prior to commencement of employment.
